Meet Our Social Worker

Erica Lopez, MSW, LSW

Erica Lopez, Police Social Worker

Erica received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Communication Studies and her Master of Social Work with a concentration in Forensics from Aurora University. She is a Licensed Social Worker with extensive experience in criminal justice and social services. Additionally, Erica is 40 hours trained in Domestic Violence, certified as a Moral Reconation Therapy Facilitator, and trained in Core Correctional Practices. She has utilized CBT and DBT, as well as other evidence-based therapies. She has experience working in Probation and pretrial, higher education, and with non-profit organizations. Erica is passionate about helping others learn the tools they need to succeed, loves witnessing growth and resilience and seeing people on the road to healing.
