Free Community Paper Shredding

Bring confidential documents or old files to shred and recycle safely—the Montgomery Police Department and Earthmover Credit Union offer this free service to residents and credit union members.
The shredding event will occur in front of Montgomery Police Station, located at 10 Civic Center Ave. on the Village's west side. The event will run from 9A-12P (unless the truck fills sooner) on Saturday, September 21, 2024. The event is a partnership between the Montgomery Police Department/Village of Montgomery and the Earthmover Credit Union. It is open to Montgomery residents and credit union members.
Advance registration is not required. The Village of Montgomery contracts with a third-party vendor, Beaver Shredding, to provide free paper shredding to residents at least once a year.
Participants can enter the Stuart Sports Complex/Montgomery Police Department Campus from Griffin Drive and head north to Civic Center Drive. Please stay in your car. Volunteers from Earthmover Credit Union and the shredding company staff will be there to assist in unloading your car and safely destroying your documents.
