Overview
The Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) is a Village President appointment and is subject to the approval of the Village Board. The Commission currently has no open vacancy. If you are interested in finding out more, you may reach the HPC via email at hpc@ci.montgomery.il.us.
The HPC operates the Settler's Cottage Museum at 198 N. River Street in front of the Village Hall. They are actively seeking donations of photos and other historical memorabilia that they will catalog and preserve for future generations.
Additionally, the HPC organizes several fundraising events and program each year.

Meetings
All meetings are open to the public. Meetings are generally held at 6:30 pm on the third Monday of the month, March through October, at the Village Hall. Meeting agendas and public notices of Historic Preservation Commission meetings are posted at the Village Hall 48 hours before the meeting.
