Flood Information
The Village of Montgomery is devoted to ensuring that all citizens have open access to information regarding flood risk and management. The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) provides the Village with Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) identifying areas of the community that are susceptible to flooding. The Village is available to help any resident, contractor, real estate agent or engineer determine if their structure is at risk of flood damage.
The Certified Floodplain Manager for the Village of Montgomery can provide residents with advice and assistance related to flood risk management and stormwater drainage concerns. On-site visits can be arranged for property owners who are interested in specific advice pertaining to measures that can be taken to mitigate flood risk, as well as information about financial assistance that may be available to property owners who would like to enact such measures. To inquire about your property’s potential flood risks or to set up an on-site appointment, please contact the Village at (630)896-8080 or visit Village Hall. We are open weekdays from 8:00am-4:30pm, excluding major holidays.
