[ARCHIVED] Live Jazz Saxophone June 14th

At 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14th, saxophonist Mandy Habel will offer free musical entertainment at the Montgomery Village Hall, 200 N. River Street.

Mandy has been performing for 20 years in orchestra pits and back up bands for various theater groups. She recently established a solo jazz act in which she performs jazz standards on mostly alto and tenor saxophone, but occasionally clarinet and a couple other instruments. Besides solo performing, Mandy has composed renaissance music, saxophone quartets, and jazz standards and served as actor, director, and orchestra conductor for various local theatre groups. The event is free and open to the general public.

The monthly Senior Lunch and activity for 55+ will begin at 11:00 a.m. after the entertainment. There is a $4 cost for the lunch and pre-registration by June 7th is required.
