The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners are seeking individuals with a high degree of personal and professional integrity to participate in a testing process to establish an Eligibility List of candidates for full-time police officer positions for the Village of Montgomery. The tests for placement on the list include a physical ability test and a written exam. The test will take place on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Yorkville Middle School (920 Prairie Crossing Drive Yorkville, IL). Police officers are responsible for the protection of life and property, prevention of crime, apprehension of criminals, and the enforcement of laws and ordinances. To apply, fill out the Police Officer Application Packet and return a hard copy to the Police Department (10 Civic Center Drive) with your $25 application fee. Applications must be received by Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. or you will be considered ineligible to participate in the testing process.
