The Montgomery Police Department received a Sustained Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation for the Thanksgiving Holiday (11/12-11/25). During this time, the Montgomery Police Department will continue to demonstrate its commitment to the enforcement of occupant safety restraints (seat belts) and detection of Impaired Driving (DUI). Our goal is to reduce the number of serious traffic related injuries and deaths through our traffic enforcement efforts.
