The Montgomery Police Department received another Sustained Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation for the St. Patrick's Day Campaign. The campaign will run from 03/14/13 through 03/17/13 and will focus on occupant safety restrain (seat belt) and Impaired Driving (DUI) Enforcement. We stand committed to reducing the number of serious traffic related injuries and deaths through our traffic enforcement efforts. Please help us accomplish this goal by buckling up when you drive, putting your cell phone down, and designating a sober driver if you have been drinking.
