[ARCHIVED] Community Wide Meeting to discuss recent crime/nuisance issues

The meeting will take place this coming Wednesday, June 14th at 7 p.m. in the board room at Village Hall (200 N. River Street).

Our community policing officers, Deputy Chief, and Chief of Police will all be in attendance. They will be discussing what issues they are seeing and what we can do as residents to help solve these issues in coordination with the PD. The PD will not be discussing specific tactics that are being deployed currently.

Trustee Stan Bond will also speak on the topic of Neighborhood Watch. We will have Neighborhood Watch sign up sheets for each neighborhood so residents can sign up with their respective groups.

This meeting is going to be a cooperative effort by all and will be kept on topic. Residents can voice their concerns at this meeting, but we also hope residents will bring and voice their solutions so we can solve this together.

Depending upon turnout, the VFW (directly across the street from Village Hall) has graciously offered to host this meeting as well should we begin to run out of room, however, it is currently scheduled for the board room at Village Hall.
