[ARCHIVED] Leaf and Yard Waste (Brush) Pickup

LEAVES: Weather permitting, Public Works crews will attempt one final sweep throughout the village to collect the bulk leaves starting on Sunday, December 2nd. One crew will start on the east side and the second crew will begin on the far west side both working toward the center of the village. We will work diligently giving it our best attempt to complete this one final sweep of the village, providing enough of the snow melts and the icy conditions do not hinder our progress. We are hoping that warmer temperatures and rain on Saturday will work in our favor to melt the snow and allow us to get to the leaf piles.
BRUSH AND YARD WASTE: DC Recycling has agreed to extend the yard waste pick up service for one more week, the week of December 3rd through December 7th. They will pick up yard waste bags as well as tied bundles of brush on your regular trash pickup day next week. If you have branches down from the recent snow, please cut them into 4' lengths and tie into bundles with twine.
