Prescription Drug Program
In October of 2014 the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) implemented new regulations that now allow the general public to transfer unused or unwanted pharmaceutical controlled substances to authorized collectors for the purpose of disposal. Locally, residents are advised they may utilize the Medication Take-Back Program offered by Fox Metro Water Reclamation District. This program allows residents of the service area to bring their old, unwanted prescription and over the counter medications in to be properly disposed---FREE! This program CANNOT accept any controlled substances.
