ABOUT THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT
President Brolley served on the Board of Trustees for two years before being elected Village President in 2013 and was reelected in 2017, 2021, and 2025. Previously he served as the Chair of the Village of Montgomery’s Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. He is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, a certified floodplain manager in Illinois, and on the legislative committee for the Illinois Association for Floodplain and Stormwater Management.

Additional Boards President Brolley serves on include: Executive Committee Member of the Northwest Water Planning Alliance, Board Member of the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning, Chairperson for the Kane County Stormwater Management Planning Committee, and is Past President of the Metro West Council of Government.

President Brolley always finds time to enjoy the Fox River by kayaking, fishing, or walking the trails with his family.

President Brolley states, "I thoroughly enjoy serving the residents of my hometown and look forward to working hard on their behalf. I bring the Board the logical, common-sense approach to solving problems that I use every day as a Civil Engineer. For years I lived just off the beautiful Fox River but now reside on the west side of Montgomery with my wife, Rosa, and children, Beckham and Delilah."
