Before his appointment to the Village Board in January 2024, Trustee Brzoska has demonstrated a long history of volunteer work with the Village of Montgomery and the greater area of Montgomery. He is active in many areas of the Village, including the Planning & Zoning Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, and the Beautification Committee. He is also a graduate of the Montgomery Citizens Police Academy, volunteering for the Neighborhood Watch. Additionally, he holds roles with the Montgomery Foundation and the Rotary Club of Montgomery. Previous volunteer work includes Aurora Evening Lions Club, React Communications Group, and Lutheran Early Response Team (LERT). 

He retired from the International Association of Lions Club after 27 years of service and now works in supply chain logistics for a Chicago sports marketing firm.

Trustee Brzoska is a strong advocate of public safety and volunteerism. He resides on the west side of Montgomery with his wife, Linda, of 32 years. 

Trustee Brzoska states, "We built our home here in 2004 and raised our three children in this community. My family loves the small-town feel of Montgomery. Over the years, I have been fortunate to see our residents unite for the better and care for one another on many occasions."
