President Brolley served on the Board of Trustees for two years prior to being elected Village President in 2013, and was reelected in 2017 and 2021. Previously he served as the Chair of the Village of Montgomery’s Plan Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. He also has served on the Board of Directors for the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, he is a licensed professional engineer in Illinois, a certified floodplain manager in Illinois, he is on the legislative committee for the Illinois Association for Floodplain and Stormwater Management, he was the Chamber Golf Committee Chairman in 2010, and he was the Vice President of the Oswego Toastmaster Club from 2008-2009.

President Brolley always finds time to enjoy the Fox River either by kayaking, fishing or walking the trails with his family.

President Brolley states, "I thoroughly enjoy serving the residents of my home town, and look forward to working hard on their behalf. I bring to the Board the logical, common sense approach to solving problems that I use every day as a Civil Engineer. For years I lived just off the beautiful Fox River, but recently moved to the west side of Montgomery with my beautiful wife, Rosa, 8 year old son, Beckham and 6 year old daughter Delilah."
